The Best (and Worst) Fabrics for Your Vagina
What you wear on your hips is crucial when it comes to your vaginal health. It is particularly important to consider the types of fabric and fibers that make up your underwear. Synthetic fabrics such as polyester, nylon, and rayon, as well as certain fabric dyes, can wreak havoc on your vagina. Such materials are ineffective in wicking away moisture, potentially causing issues such as UTIs, yeast and bacterial infections, and overall discomfort.
When choosing underwear, it is best to go with a pair that is made from natural materials and as few chemicals as possible. Organic cotton is a great choice as it lets your vagina breathe properly and can absorb moisture efficiently.
Just think, women have 2 sets of Lips- Upstairs and Downstairs! So whatever panties you put on, your vagina will actually be absorbing and reacting to the fabric it is put up against.
Your vagina and all of it's functions are natural- your panties should be too!
